More reasonably it looks like some sort of compressions artifact created by the photo process. It disappears where the photos on its right and left begin. Also it lines up perfectly with the line scans created by the camera as it makes each image. Fainter but similar bars show up all over the images. More interesting is the straight line of dots, like a dotted line that are recorded in the lower right hand corner of this image in Sinus Rorus at Markov's 4 o'clock and just above Markov U. It looks like some meteor skipped across many kilometers of plain before coming to rest. The dots sometimes are solid lines then break into dots again. Very interesting. Additionally at Pythagoras's (top ~center) 7 o'clock position there are 4 artifacts created by the camera or some operation in a lab that rubs out the image. They are roughly triangular in shape.
