Greg: I have been a student of ancient Mayan culture, traveled many times to examine archaeological sites in Mexico. Over the years, many different people decided the ancient Maya, and even the Olmec, have had contact with ET civilizations. There are artifacts sitting in Mexican museums that have suggested as much to these people. Sometimes, I met up with educated Mexicans who believed the ancient Maya and Olmec had been in contact. A school principal, from the district around Carmen del Playa, while we were sharing a bottle of rum staring out at the stars, claimed that the people themselves were "from the stars," as he put it. I lumped the comment with the fact that we humans are made of star stuff. One could imagine that text from the codices express this concept, i.e., that humans are made up of the stuff of stars.
