Just to reinforce Jerry's point here, I can unreservedly recommend Bauer's 'Scientific Literacy and the Myth of Scientific Method'. Along with his 'Science or Pseudoscience' it is a paradigm of good, clear critical thinking. I regard these books as essential reading for anybody with a serious interest, whatever their 'agenda', in any area of anomalistics. -- Gerald O'Connell http://www.saatchionline.com/gacoc Listen to 'Strange Days...
