Hi Jerry I'd go along with that (well, 50/50 anyway) but only for ground based observations. That's because, like many folk I've spent some time watching Shuttle and MIR (Russian) film, much of it from Martyn Stubbs' retrievals - http://tinyurl.com/44lguq6 (the full 90 min version) - and it looks fairly obvious that many large UFOs are entering Earth's atmosphere - from way out in space - seemingly to `bathe' in, or `refuel' from, large electrical/thunderstorms. Here's a 5 min extract http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mi_JNEpTkvY from that footage. About halfway through the guy commentating on one of those UFO actions says much the same thing, though maybe a little more fanciful. BTW - had already collected some of Charles Fort's reports of similar large circular UFOs at www.perceptions.couk.com/fortre1883.html#circ-ph here's a sample: "Vast wheel-like super-constructions ... one of them about the size of Brooklyn, I should say, off hand. And one or more of them wheel-shaped things, a goodly number of square miles in area". Cheers Ray Listen to 'Strange Days...
