Would the Russians and Chinese do so? What about all the wannabee Osamas out there who would be delighted to obtain, for free, military related information that could lead to better weapons delivery and defense systems, means for detecting or destroying them? Earthlings this year will spend a Trillion dollars on things military. I think National Security is a major concern, There may be Americans who would also like to obtain such information. Should the world be informed that Earth is being Visited? Yes, along with an international announcement of forthcoming conferences to be held to discuss the many implications.
