Actually, it's not a trellis. It's the out of focus (near field)
decorative laminate that some auto makers put at the top of the
windshield ( the video was shot through it). And if you download
the original 720p video from MUFON and put it through frame by
frame analysis the orb does partially occlude as it goes behind
it. As well both orbs occlude perfectly (partially then totally
on each side) as they pass behind each object throughout the
clip.

If it's CGI it's done at the highest professional level by
someone who really knows what they're doing. The large number of
occlusions and the fact that they look perfectly realistic
argues against it.

What we know about the video:

Shot at 720/24p on an iPhone in Oregon, not Missouri on Oct 8.
The time on the HUD display says 5:22. If correct, it was
5:22am, almost 2 hours before sunrise. (The sun didn't set that
day until 6:36pm). The gain on the video is pushed to max (the
iphone only cranks down to 24fps from 30fps at minimum
illumination) so two hours before sunrise could be possible. If
the HUD clock is not properly set it could be the late evening
as the creation time of the file is 10:04pm. Of course there's
no certainty that this is a copy of the original camera file so
the creation time may be when an edited file was saved.

Things that are suspicious:

The street is identified as SE Sherrett St. On Google Street
View I can find no intersection that matches along SE Sherrett
St. on either side of 99E. Could be that I didn't look closely
enough.

There's a SE Roswell St. two blocks to the South of Sherrett.
But no intersection matches on that street, either.

Mundane possible explanations:

A couple of RC planes with lights attached. That they move so
quickly and appear to be at least a few hundred yards distant
makes this explanation slightly less likely.

What further could be done:

1) Getting the original file, if this isn't a digital copy.

2) Finding out from the witness the actual time and location of
her camera in order to get an accurate distance to the farthest
group of trees at the end of the street that are occluded.
Minimum speeds of the lights could then be estimated.
