It is interesting, but unfortunately is very weak information. However, in the surrounds of Manaus - wrongly written as "Mamaus" in the article - there are very active hot spot for UFOs. The city by the Negro River is large and has a considerable population, that spreads into rural and jungle areas nearby. Some locations are very well known for numerous UFO cases, most of them incorporated into Amazonian Folklore. Manaus and the Negro River are some of my favorite places to investigate UFO sightings and contacts. My last visit to that area was only a few months ago. I collected very serious witness reports from people living on the Anavilhana Islands, as well as from pilots who do touristism and commercial flights in the area and had UFO sightings and a near collision with one just recently. The first report of that trip is here: http://www.ufoupdateslist.com/2011/may/m19-005.shtml Cheers, A. J. A. J. Gevaerd Brazilian UFO Magazine Listen to 'Strange Days...
