The first module is free, the second will cost a little, and the third, the most important, will cost a bit more but the total will be under $10. I wont get into the first two modules, but will elaborate on the third. MUFON Mobile The MUFON Mobil Application allows the user to freely navigate MUFON's online content from the comfort of their mobile device. This module also provides some quick tips and educational material on investigating the UFO Phenomena. UFO Search UFO Search is a comprehensive application that allows the user to search the MUFON database quickly and easily while on the go. MUFON's database holds tens of thousands of reports spread out all over the world. (Our Case Management System files, CMS II) Skywatch Alert Skywatch Alert is the UFO Connect's flagship application. This module will revolutionize how the general public, UFO/Skywatcher enthusiast and serious UFO investigator interacts and witness the phenomena we have come to know as UFOs. The third module is put together similar too the Amber alert system, so that if one person reports a UFO on there iPhone, everyone who has the Skywatch Alert module will get an immediate notification that a UFO was reported. The individual owner gets to choose how big of a circle that they want to be alerted about, ranging from 5 miles to All (world wide). They can also set how old of a case it is from less than 2 hours, 6 hours, 24 hours or all. What is so amazing is the idea that if the person seeing the UFO takes a picture with the iPhone the have captured latitude, longitude altitude and azimuth for that picture and also a very accurate time for when the picture was taken. Then if some one else in the same general area also takes a picture of the object and reports it with that much information we are playing a new ball game. And our imagination runs away with us saying what have you got if 10 or 15 people photograph the same object with that much data per picture. We do have to be realistic too, in that we understand that the large majority of buyers will be in the younger set and that we will get all kinds of reports. Well that is nothing new. The people who monitor our CMS system now are constantly throwing things out of the system due to the many and varied things they find being "reported". The newer CMS II system has some built in filtering for some of the prank stuff and it also automatically evaluates reports as to there basic type and forwards good reports directly to the MUFON State Director where the incident occurred. Our statistics for completed investigations are showing that approximately one-thrid of our states are completing 100% of the cases assigned to them, and the trend is on an "improving" slope. Of course we do also look forward to making a few dollars on this App, which is always needed in this community, and hopefully that will allow us to do even more and do it all better. Wish us luck.
