Thanks Steven and Edoardo

It's reassuring to see that folk have put some careful thought
into devizing protocols.

As a 'lay observer'. probably along with most others, had sort-
of presumed that - but our recent discussions re: `nuts'n`bolts'
versus `New Age' brought a trace of doubt.

As you say Edoardo, using the full formal protocol is not
practical at initial stage of _all_ reported case. And most
'lights in the sky' cases wouldn't benefit, while police/air-
forces _should_ have similar protocols already).

However a case with apparent significant features - such as are
always questioned amid controversy afterwards - surely warrants
making a scientific record for analysis, which demands a
credible (impartial) protocol.
