I would note that on her web site >she has links and information related to Astrology, but UFOs >remains buried. Shirley Maclaine's website has a direct link to its UFO section in the menu on the left. The links at the top of the page are probably the most popular for her target audience. While it's a very basic, entry-level presentation, it does legitimize UFOs as worthy of study, and urges her readers to explore the subject further. It may lead more women to get interested in UFOs, which could be a good thing for a field where women are massively under-represented. I know that many of the ideas often labelled "New Age" are anathema to those of you who think UFOs are a strictly nut-and- bolts phenomenon. But there are enough high strangeness and anomalous physical experiences in many UFO reports to warrant examination by those who are more comfortable exploring ideas about non-ordinary reality.
