I am aware that Richard Dolan, whom I have met at conferences and appreciated as speaker and author, gives credit to that story, in his book UFOs The Cover-Up Exposed 1973-91, pages 457- 461. But I find that description very doubtful, for a number of reasons. I find hard to believe that such an extraordinary craft would have been displayed - even to selected people - in a hangar on Norton AFB, at the same time as an air show which presumably gathered a number of spectators on the base... I don't think such a highly secret asset would be displayed so casually! Another reason is that one of the three craft was open and showed its inside while hovering above ground (hence the drawing of Mac Candlish). This is just not credible either, to me. I suggest exploring a possible explanation for this fantastic story. Its supposed to have happened about one month after the very controversial TV show UFO Cover-Up Live, where Colonel Shartle, in charge of Air Force film archives at Norton AFB, revealed that he had seen the footage of a meeting with Aliens at Holloman AFB. In that context, I wonder if Mac Candlish could have been the victim of some disinformation trick, intended to discredit the Shartle testimony - see, all this is baloney!
