Within the Sonoran Society Astronomy Club, I have got the reputation of having an open mind about the subject of whether there is contact with other ET civilizations. It used to be a joke, but I noticed that more and more our speakers seem to be siding with me. I have no idea at this point if Paul Allen has ever shown up at one of our meetings, but I have met his Head Wrangler - who is interested in astronomy. The Allen ranch is located off the road to the Whipple Observatory. His free-range cows sometimes wandered the access road and block traffic to the observatory. Have you tried approaching the Catholic mission at Graham Observatory with your proposal? The brothers and I have shared opinions about ET civilizations while sitting next to each other. (As I stated, everybody knows my opinion.) Especially, Brother Coyne - who teaches at the UofA. KK Listen to 'Strange Days...
