To address one pointless strain in this thread: As a human being Creighton, of course, was more than just a crackpot obsessed with reading demonology into UFO reports. In his long life, he did other things as well, and not all (or even most) of them exhibited the dismaying traits he brought to his ruminations on UFOs. So what? Unless we're cardboard cutouts, all of us have lots of sides to us.
