By artistic, I think you might mean slightly grainy and nicely framed. The graininess may be typical of early color photographs, so that might explain any similarity in quality to Meier's photos. I went through a collection of Meier's photos, and most of the craft there are much more ornate. The simpler designs are also different in shape, so if Meier made this photo, the craft would appear to be a unique model. I really don't know the origin of the so-called Haunebu photo. If anyone has any knowledge of that, please let me know. My purpose in talking about it was simply to say that the optical effect beneath it suggests that the photo was of a real craft with a novel propulsion system. William Listen to 'Strange Days...
