As you say, >Robert, rubbish. Absurd might be a better word. It's not Jacobsen's scenario. It's EG&G's scenario. More specifically that of an EG&G scientist/engineer who told her it. Unfortunately, she bought into it. But the blame is on the man reporting this, Jacobsen was only writing what she was told. I'm not defending Jacobsen and I never would defend her. She'd just as quickly report me to DHS (or FBI, et al) for being un- American, unpatriotic, suspicious or any number of things she dissaproves of. But at the same time, the province of the story, as I've said time and time again, is not actually Annie Jacobsen. The province of the story is an ex-EG&G employee. >I don't know what happened in Roswell but this is another >attempt to use a razor blade to trim the edges of the puzzle >pieces to make them fit. So once again, we are either left with Project Mogul, which is a blatant lie or we have anecdotal stories about otherworldly wreckage. >It is amazing the stuff that the fringe element will buy into. As Steve Volk has pointed out, the fringe sits right at the heart of what it means to be human. Sincerely, Josh Listen to 'Strange Days...
