Actually Vincent is wrong. The sunlight direction is approximately correct. The sun is to "the right" of the saucer, casting shadows of the mast, the buildings, topography and other nearby features to the left. Vincent appears to be misled because this is a 360deg panorama, so that when rotated to view "the people and the structure" (lighthouse) it does indeed show the sun to the left throwing shadows to the right. That doesn't mean it isn't a joke, I'm sure it is; but let's not laugh for the wrong reason ;-) Martin Shough Listen to 'Strange Days...
