>>>It is interesting that the 5th Annual Global Competitiveness
>>>Forum to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Jan. 23-26 has the
>>>courage to have a panel Contact: Learning from Outer Space
>>>Featuring Dr. Jacques Vallee, Nick Pope, Dr. Michio Kaku, myself
>>>and an Egyptian Scientist Dr. Zaghloul El Naggar", a member of
>>>the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs.

>>>A number of very impressive people will be among the 125
>>>speakers. 800 attendees are expected each day who will pay $4000
>>>to attend.

>>>What a contrast.

>>Does $4000 US dollars include cost of air flight, hotel room, at
>>least a welcoming dinner with cocktail party to meet the
>>panelists, shuttle to and from the airport and copies of the
>>various panel discussions? Maybe even a souvenir gold bar from
>>the gold bar machine in the lobby? Or, maybe the price of
>>admission is just to keep the riff-raff out?

>So far as I know it does not include flight or hotel costs.
>Certainly won't include a cocktail party.

>Takes a while to get a visa... but price now is $4500.

Please, any of you attending this conference, be very careful in
these times. I have a real concern that some individual or group
might decide to target Americans and Brits attending this

I have reason to believe this based on reports in Eye Spy on the
assassination of a foreign diplomat in a luxury hotel in Saudi
Arabia by unknown agents.

Shake your heads if you must, but while I traveled in the Middle
East I tried to make sure I was aware of my surroundings at all

Wishing all of you who attend a safe trip,
