The San Diego campus of UC is referred to as UCSD. Thanks for your patience. I worked within the UC system during the time of the Sims debate, and was able to contact VernonClark via the UC e-mail system. Because I worked across the hall from the electron microscope and knew the UCLA lab head tech, I could ask Clark questions about his testing methods. If I am remembering the facts correctly, it turned out that Clark was not a doctor at all, but the newest hired tech in the San Diego lab.
