I recall some good commentary at the time and the problem is
that this isn't helping to bring the subject to the attention of
those not connected to the field.  JSE is one publication that
can be used as a vehicle to get this type of information to an
outside audience.  While becoming larger and more diverse with
the advent of the Internet, ufology is becoming more isolated
from "mainstream science" in many ways.

But we won't solve the problems of this genre tonight, and I
hope that everyone has (or has had) a wonderful and safe New
Year's Holiday.
