We haven't defined the subject of study, or rules or evidence; so, perhaps peer review is getting ahead of the game. But it's never too early to begin exposing some to the concept, I guess. However, in the end, I think the issue is made moot by the Internet and the plethora of self-appointed experts, which will likely have the effect of further isolating scientists who see a vast sea of un-vetted information for a subject that has no boundaries.
