Like - what circular wind-speeds are necessary to pick up a bunch of spherical, fairly dense things like apples? (Or quarry stones?) Does that happen (apart from the rarely recorded tornadoes) regularly around UK? And does a local 'whirlwind' have the energy (and time) to do mass/size 'sorting' of objects in the column?
