Kathleen: That is the problem, isn't it? You are thinking my opinion is a criticism of your research. In a way, it is. The model you are implementing is what would be referred to as the Jack Webb/Dragnet model of "give me the facts, ma'am, just the facts". At no time, in what I read, is there information provided to the volunteer of what could happen to their mental state by reliving the experience. Your focus is just on the facts, not the human providing the facts. The people you want to volunteer had a crack in their worldview, slid through and returned to tell the tale. And, all you are focused on is mining their data. That is a little on the cold side. But, then that is how any witness is treated within the field of UFO research. 'Just give us the facts, just the facts'. Without regard for the what has happened emotionally, and sometimes physically, to the witness/experiencer. Maybe, you should consult with a shaman or psychotherapist before proceeding with your research. And, as I recommended possibly contacting Dr. Rick Strassman (www.rickstrassman.com) or accessing the government website for information regarding Informed Consent Form. I was hoping the above would be seen as helpful not being critical of your wanting to do the research. Just because someone wants to provide information doesn't mean you should take advantage of their desire to do so. KK Listen to 'Strange Days...
