KK's statement that Denise Stoner and I are only looking for data appears to be a criticism of the fact that we are not mental health practitioners. The fact is that most abduction investigators and researchers are not psychotherapists. We do not purport that this survey will be used to heal the emotional wounds of abduction experiencers. We have made it very clear that we are UFO abduction researchers and investigators collecting data about the commonalities in UFO abduction experiences. It seems pertinent that I should mention that I am very well aware of the emotional and psychic pain suffered by abductees. I am the niece of Betty and Barney Hill and was very close to them. I am also sympathetic to the plight of others who have been subjected to the emotional and physical trauma of having been kidnapped and experimented on by non-human entities.
