In this field of study when someone like him passes on it feels like a big vacuum has occurred. It can be scary at first but then you think of the body of work he pioneered and the courage it took for him to take those steps where others feared to tread and it doesn't get scary anymore, it gives strength. I got the chance to video Budd Hopkins in Roswell back in '97. He did an hour long interview with us at the Parascope Magazine camp. I'd tried to get him to help out in the Hudson Valley with abductees and contactees I knew. I remember how happy I was when I found out another artist was into UFOs like I was. That brought a big smile to my face. Now it's time for the rest of us to pick up the slack and help people out who have such encounters and with the kind of bedside manner it takes.
