He was a kind and compassionate person, a great artist, very simple. He was one of the New Yorkers, along with Ted Bloecher, who helped me feel totally at home when I moved from Paris to NYC in 1977. I have fond memories of the endless discussions in his kitchen around a glass of white wine, of the meetings in his living room with all the participants to the Support Group he was the first to organise, of his keen intelligence and his enthusiasm, his devotion to his research even when his health started failing him. Whether people agreed or not with his ideas about abductions, all acknowledged his sincerity and gentleness. I feel very privileged to have had the chance to be friends with him for so long and feel a terrible void now. Ufology has lost one of its true pioneers. Jean-Luc Rivera Listen to 'Strange Days...
