I'm not doing research as such, but I am trawling through the
Project Blue Book image files at footnote.com These are prepared
in old teletype format and sent to a virtual teletype circuit
associated with the CC-1 (Communications Center 1) mailing list
hosted at Yahoo Groups.

I do find a gem, in my opinion, from time to time. These are in
two categories, radar reports and overseas unknown aircraft
reports. My other interest is trying to ferret out the history
of the alternate and higher level intelligence gathering done by
the Air Intelligence Service Squadrons. These were precursor
units to the Air Force Special Security Office system.

While in Florida (15 April to 10 July) I bought the 2005 re-print
of Ivan T. Sanderson's *Invisible Residents: The Reality of
Underwater UFOs*. The foreword (introduction) by David Hatcher
Childress is a bit eccentric.

The number of MERINT reports in the Project Blue Book files is
scanty and often not well documented. I would be willing to
forward these to you as I find them. The tag MERINT is more
often not included in the text of the teletype, air intelligence
information report, or equivalent U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard

Again, I would like to be included as a peripheral researcher.

You're welcome,

Terry W. Colvin
