Greetings Rick! Thanks very much for the nice compliment! I have worked many long, and sometimes seemingly thankless, years at this crazy job at NUFORC, and often wonder whether anyone is paying attention... or even cares about the reports I collect and post. It's nice to have someone express interest, and confidence, in what I do! Thank you!! I would recommend that, in lieu of having me prepare regular contributions to UFO UpDates, people simply visit the NUFORC site, from time to time, in order to read the data posted there. All the data I receive I simply screen for hoaxes, proofread for egregious errors in grammar, and post to the site. Hence, those posted reports, combined with my comments on the NUFORC homepage, really should provide virtually everything I could provide in a specially prepared statement for UFO UpDates. I am sometimes a bit slow in getting the site updated, but I am working on that problem, and hope to have it solved soon. I've posted three times during July, already, and am about to do so again tomorrow. By the way, for the interest of the List Members, I just received yet another very interesting report of red "fireballs" tonight, although this one has a new twist. A fellow in Lumberton, NJ, was out walking his dog, last night, Saturday, July 30th, at about 9:00 p.m. (EDT), when he suddenly witnessed a dramatically bright, shimmering red "fireball" streak across the sky, disappearing over the horizon within a few seconds. About a minute later, he witnessed a second one, but this time, he was galvanized to action. He was carrying a 15 million candlepower spot lamp, which he shone at the object, and flashed the lamp 4-5 times in the direction of the aerial object. He reports that the "fireball" suddenly stopped, the red light extinguished, and the witness could suddenly see an actual craft, silver-gray in color, he thought, that appeared to be spinning! I will share his written report with the List, once it arrives. He also has photos, he reported in his message. NUFORC is now receiving 1-2 dozen reports per night about "fireballs." A cluster of approximately 20 yellow fireballs was reported from Beatty, NV, on July 28. I do not know what the objects are, but I feel strongly that most of the reports are of objects not from this planet. They are reported to exhibit flight characteristics that are incompatible with terrestrial aircraft. PD NUFORC Listen to 'Strange Days...
