Gosh, what a long question Martin. As you might have guessed by
now, and from my response to dear Alfredo, my comment was
largely aimed at Jerry Clark who, for what seems like a hundred
years, has been droning on about the necessaity of finding a
'negative' witness.

I of course have been claiming for about the same length of time
that there are unlikely ever to be any, because who would
particularly be bothered making a big point of not seeing

But it seems I was wrong - I'll repeat that for the benefit of
some of my many critics - I was wrong! After a lot of dilligent
detective work, Kentaro Mori has actually tracked down a
negative witness!

But now we've got one, it seems some people are never satisfied,
so let's start the hunt for Negative Witness No. 2, but I think
you'll have to be quick, as they're all pretty old by now.

I don't know who's been 'charmingly' referring to Barauna's
friends as 'cronies'. I don't think I ever have. I once got told
off by the Cunning Canbyite for referring to them as 'friends',
but even he had to admit in the end that they were actually,
well, friends.

But for the moment the legendary negative witness has actually
turned up. Rejoice!

John Rimmer
