Do I take it you mean any observer labelled by the media as a
"long time believer," brings you to the conclusion the term
"UFO" should become superfluous because it had the innuendo of,
"Flying Saucer" or "ET"? I felt Mr Kilpatrick's explanation,
reported, was quite adequate. It gave the object he saw, height
and direction and description, which is somewhat more than many
other "Sky Things" (STs) the media report.

It more than likely has a natural explanation, but I think there
are many other acronyms for "stuff in the sky" (S.I.T.S.), like
U.A.P.s and RUFOs even.

I'll leave it to others more enlightened than I to give us some
more appropriate terms so we can categorise what we do or do not
see in the sky.
