Subject: Re: Faked & Altered Documents?

I rarelly post here these days but I am happy to comment on Phil
Mantle's forwarding of Scott Felton's message.

Regarding the North Wales Police Major Incident Log for the
night of 23 January 1974, Scott states:

>As such, in its resp[onse
>following an internal review of my request, it not only now
>claims not to possess any of Log, but claims to know nothing
>about it at all, despite my copy, those of others and, debunkers
>also openly referring to the document in their possession!!!!

As I have told Scott numerous times over the years, North Wales
Police destroyed their original of the log many years ago, in
line with force policy destruction procedures.

In 1974, they lodged a copy of the original log with what was
the IGS and which became the British Geological Survey. We must
accept this is a copy of the original due when it was deposited.
I obtained a photo copy of this log as long ago as 1998, so it
is hardly secret. I have no knowledge of other versions of the
log to which Scott refers. I have also on several occasions,
offered Scott the opportunity to see my copy of this log, an
offer her chooses to turn down, presumably because mystery is
more exciting than fact.

The full story of the alleged Berwyn Mountain UFO crash can be
found in my book UFO Down (available from Amazon).

Happy Trails
