I don't have the time right now to research the following, but if memory serves some people were killed as a result of the triple A and over 4,000 shells were fired at the object(s). What is missing is the army documents that must have followed as a result of this event. Would this have been due to rank embarrassement over what would have to be perceived as a panicked response (no harm there considering the times and circumstances) and or the lack of any anti-aircraft fire effect on the invaders. Frank Warren has been keeping this event alive. I wonder if he has been filing FOIAs in an attempt to find documents. In any event I think that it should be noted that deaths did occur and that triple A was unleashed that would have done justice to that seen nightly over London during the Battle of Britain.
