Hi Bruce,

Very interesting event. I don't have the time right now to
research the following, but if memory serves some people were
killed as a result of the triple A and over 4,000 shells were
fired at the object(s).

What is missing is the army documents that must have followed
as a result of this event. Would this have been due to rank
embarrassement over what would have to be perceived as a
panicked response (no harm there considering the times and
circumstances) and or the lack of any anti-aircraft fire effect
on the invaders.

Frank Warren has been keeping this event alive. I wonder if he
has been filing FOIAs in an attempt to find documents.

In any event I think that it should be noted that deaths did
occur and that triple A was unleashed that would have done
justice to that seen nightly over London during the Battle of
Britain. This was an extremely serious event.
