That's probably because a search of the UFO UpPates archives shows that the paper has never been discussed here. The only actual discussion of the paper anywhere that a Google turns up is a 117 word recap of it by Arnaud Leene, who refers to one of Delanoy's conclusions as "interesting." Those who raise an eyebrow at the name, wondering if it is a pseudonym based on Arnold Layne, the transvestite in a Pink Floyd song who steals ladies' undergarments from clotheslines, can be assured that Mr. Leene appears to be a real person with degrees in astronomy, physics, and mathematics.
