Subject: Gallup's Interest In ET/UFOs

Hello List,

Over the weekend George Ure at:

http://urbansurvival.com/week.htm

got an e-mail:

-----

George, Just read your Friday's WuJo section and thought I
would pass this along to you.

I was polled by Gallup on Friday night and some of the questions
they asked me made me scratch my head. I think the meat of the
poll was to find out how I felt about Pelosi, Bainer and Obama.

Along the way they asked me questions that I could not figure
their motive for. They asked me if I believed in God, hell,
heaven and ghosts. I figured this line of questioning was to
determine if I am some kind of fanatic or something.

They also asked about my feelings on abortion.

But then they asked me a few questions that made wonder what the
reason for asking would be. After reading your Friday's WuJo
section I thought of these questions as more interesting.

Those questions were "Do you believe in extraterrestrial life
outside of our solar system?", "Have you or anybody you know
ever seen a UFO?" and "Do you know where the United Nations is
headquartered?"

Have these kinds of questions always been included in these
polls? This is my first polling, I have nothing to reference.
Maybe your readers know...

Interesting.

Cheers

Ray D
