There are _many_ inaccuracies, true, but I have to admit I was
fooled by the deceptive presentation. I've been (intentionally)
out of touch with anything 'ufological' for a happy and peaceful
nine years. I thought that it was highly possible this case just
'got by me' and that it based on an 'actual' report. I have
since then heard from Jason, Steve and others that they
discovered sufficient evidence that there is no 'real' story or
report behind the movie. That's good enough for me.

And... it's important for me to state that I was not trying to
sell any point of view or belief system about abduction by
'recommending' the movie. I am simply a life-long movie buff and
lover of film and I thought it was a cool movie. My review
should not be interpreted as anything other than what it was...
my review of a movie.

I'm convinced (from the evidence) that the semblance of reality
(created by the film-makers) is nothing more than Hollywood hype
to help put more asses in the seats. Period. You said yourself,
much of it doesn't fit the patterns associated with abduction. I
don't think there's anything 'real' about the story or the
characters.

I wrote a _Movie_Review_ Steve, I don't think any part of my
post could even remotely be interpreted as, 'promoting my
beliefs'. Could you elaborate please? Maybe I'm misreading or
misinterpreting what you're referring to. Can you point me to
the part of my review that you are reading as, me
pitching/selling my 'beliefs'?

I agree.

>But then again, it makes for a hellava movie...

It did! That's why I recommended it... as a _movie_. And nothing
else.

I'm outta here, kiddies. There's just way too much 'drama'
associated with regular participation in these forums. Back to
the woodwork for me.

Warmest regards to my friends and compadres,
