Broeke is known for several hoaxes, and has been exposed also by
UFO Watchdog's Royce Myers.

I've blogged about his latest 'UFO' photos and previous hoaxes

It's not only obvious he created these images by having cutouts
placed in front of his camera lens, you can actually tell he did
it this way because in some photos the cutouts are reflecting
back the camera flash. That would not have happened if the
object (or cutout) was actually distant (>5m), or if the object
itself was distant and glowing, which would illuminate the
surrounding area.

As Patrick Gross has noted, not only is Broeke a noted hoaxer,
he's actually the main witness in some BLT papers hailed as
"scientific proof" of crop circle anomalies.
