I'm sure they will use it >as an example of people who can't distinguish reality from >fantasy. I regret going all fortune cookie on you Mr. Gammon, really, but sometimes a seeming lie is all that is allowed available to tell the truth. The phenomena is real, effects - at least - high side hundreds of credible persons world-wide, and is yet but another ancillary failure of 'Science' to perform the role that it would propound that it does, but does not: Investigate the outr=E9 passionately sans preconceived notion, not rejecting claims on mere 'a priori' grounds altogether antecedent to _any_ inquiry, but rather examined objectively and with care. You know... really, the preceding, but with some diligence and courage and _actuality_. If a film featuring an actress who can make the point injects the idea into the public consciousness a little deeper that people very well may be having these experiences, that's fine with me... even as it is not fine with you. Debunkers having field days, better enjoy it while they can. They are increasingly irrelevant, more demonstrably uninformed, and don't seem to be able make the payoff regarding what they set out to do - see my next article in UFO Magazine - make all the non-scientism stuff go away, forgetting they make an entirely non-criticized living doing just that. I don't mean that in a good way. You fret about people who can't distinguish reality from fantasy when it's you who can't distinguish their own facile arrogance believing you understand what reality really is. Moreover, fret not the mote while the beam assails you. Science is bankrupt on this issue, facilitates it's own failure, and betrays the public trust to propound authoritatively on that which it does not look at, at all. More humility would be useful all around, to start. alienview.nul www.AlienView.net AVG Blog -- http://alienviewgroup.blogspot.com/ U F O M a g a z i n e -- www.ufomag.com Listen to 'Strange Days...
