From: Greg Boone <evolbaby.nul> Date: Thu, 17 Dec 2009 11:20:34 EST Archived: Thu, 17 Dec 2009 11:55:11 -0500 Subject: Time Magazine's 'A Brief History Of UFOs' http://tinyurl.com/yeztf5w I don't know where Time Magazine dug up this character M.J. Stephey who wrote this article but someone should plug up the hole before some kid finds it and worse happens. Yes I had to show restraint on that last sentence. Lots of restraint. How in the world could Time Magazine be so sloppy in it's reporting? When I was a kid and then going on to work for the country's largest news service, Time was held as a standard of excellence. Over the past 10 years, maybe more, I've seen articles that should never have seen the light of day much less the print of ink. This is one of them. This guy gets it so off base we should all send Time Magazine a ton of letters asking to have all their editorial staff checked for ethics. Objectivity and accuracy went so far out the window in this story that it sailed through the window of the neighbor's house and hit him on the noggin whilst he was eating his morning stirrabout. I will now put on my pith helmet, gather my rations, and dive out of the way as I can hear you all preparing to launch salvo after salvo at Time Magazine. Wait, I almost forgot I've also worked for TimeWarner on and off for the past 20 years in their comic book division, animation, and even for America Online. Have at em'!
