You are absolutely right, of course. In order to reach the same
conclusions that I have requires either that people familiarise
themselves as much as I and others have with the contents of the
already released material or accept that my description of it is
accurate _and_ apply common sense. Many people do not do any of
those three.

I think I need to refer back to my posts identifying the
intelligence services active in the UK, expressing my view that
GCHQ, MI5, and MI6 have no vested interest in UFOs, and also
that for a cover-up to be successful requires minimum
circulation of the withheld knowledge coupled with a genuine
acceptance of the need for it's retention.

As for "MoD doesn't want to know what UFOs are", I will happily
concede that that is an exaggeration - if the MoD could discover
with no expense what UFOs are, they would indeed welcome the
knowledge. They don't however want to invest effort or money in
discovering what UFOs are unless there is unambiguous evidence
of hostile intent.
