This is certainly reasonable, but I think it understates the
scope of Joe's comment, which I take to imply that not only does
the government not have the 'answers', they further have no
additional worthwhile material to disclose. One could well be
skeptical of the latter.

Certainly in the case of the US government, any incident or data
that reveals, or even suggests, a vulnerability in some
component of our strategic infrastructure is going to be
withheld from the public domain indefinitely, and countered with
active disinformation as necessary, whether it relates to UFOs
or not. Don't bother with the FOIA request.

The proposition that the government is concealing critical UFO-
related material is non-falsifiable (a la Iraq and WMD), and
hence rather pointless to discuss, but proclamations that there
is "no smoking gun", "no positive evidence", that "disclosure
has arrived", etc., do not by any means follow from this purge
of MoD filespace.
