Thanks Brad for shooting down this story.

I was getting ready to send off e-mail to the authors of this
book (they were on CtoC for an interview). I don't
remember hearing that Willingham 'witnessed' the crash
from the cockpit of an airplane. Although it was never
disclosed why this particular pilot was in that particular
local at that particular time. Now, it appears the witness
is having trouble remembering where, when and how.

Yeah, there was a crash just south of El Indio-Guerrero.
However, for anyone to have witnessed the crash they would have
had to be around the area at the pleasure of the DEA or the
Mexican drug lord who owned the fields where the exotic test
craft smashed to the ground.

If someone had just wandered into those fields, and came out
still alive? Like I said they were there at the pleasure of the
Mexican drug lord or participating in a covert operation for the
U.S. government.

What is my connection to the crash? I saw/held a piece of the
crashed vehicle in my hand while sitting in Dr. Hynek's living
room in Evanston, Ill one night a while back.
