Very good you didn't let this get lost in the confusion, Frank.
If, there is not appreciable dispersal of balloons toting flares
after a time interval commisserate with winds, and they hold a
position, they are not balloons toting flares. As well, it would
require exactly matched helium pressures in them for them to
aggregate at the same altitude.

More than this, let's examine the mechanisms being employed here
to dispense information. And the apparent use of the debunking

Ufologists should know by now that swamp gas, the planet Venus,
the morning star, off-course black projects exponents, and now
flares, are the straws afforded debunkers who, either willingly
or unwittingly oblige ever-present cover-up policy to provide
the unwashed (unapprised) masses an excuse not to look further
and to settle back into lethargy.

While our consderations are footnoted, at best.

You would think we could show a little more unity among
ourselves than to act as though we're not aware of this.
