It is a project of the UFO Research Coalition, of which MUFON is
one member, the other two being the Fund for UFO Research and the
Center for UFO Studies.

This was discussed here at some length in the recent past, and
some funds were raised to do the final statistical analysis.

In my capacity as past chairman of the Fund, I was one of the
organizers of the project.
