Hi, Don, Bruce, Steve:

Thank you for your very interesting points about flare
altitiudes, Don. I never would've even thought of that -
knowledge of Air Force practices not being my forte :-).

I don't think the flare hypothesis adds up very well. I read
Lynn's book, and watched the video (which for me was really long
on New Age stuff and short on substance, but it still had some
interesting info), and I thought the flare idea was pretty
thoroughly demolished.

But I certainly respect Bruce Maccabee, and I'm wondering how he
would handle the central arguments against the flare hypothesis,
if believes it is the most likely explanation.
