Hi Rich, I have had good success scanning negatives with my scanner. You need to scan at a high resolution (600dpi plus) to get the image large enough. In Photoshop, you have the option of _inverting_ the image, which will give a rough color-corrected positive from the negative. Once the image is approximately color-accurate, Brightness, Contrast, Levels and Color Balance can all be finely adjusted. I am still engaged in scanning the Brunswick book, but am hoping to get a scanner which includes a negative carrier as well as a faster scan rate. This should happen in the next two weeks. If you find the negative too vexing, I'd be happy to scan it for you. You should try it first though, as it should scan fairly reasonably. If you get a good TIFF scan, and need additional software, I can offer to process the image if you'll post it on your web. Best Regards, Kyle
