Hello,

Commander Castanon decided not to request backup assistance
because he was expecting to make visual contact till the last
moment. He was in contact with the base reporting they were
seeing unknown objects through the FLIR.

Mayor Castanon reported at 17:07:14

"Listen we don't know what are we seeing, they are just luminous
objects that are flying at the same altitude as us. We cannot
know what's their distance."

I assume he was trying to be sure before requesting further
actions because the objects were not visible at to the eyes so
it must have been a moment of a hard decision in the middle of
a strange and unprecedent situation.

Santiago
