Hi Jim, All,

Hasn't it occurred to anyone that simple human psychology and
response may be responsible for a lot of what we're witnessing?
Am I the only one that thinks it's possible that a lot of this
is coming from good old-fashioned jealousy? There is bound to be
plenty of it going around right now. _Especially_ among Jaime's
peers in Mexican ufology.

So far, one individual posted his resume to the List enumerating
all his previous history and contacts with the Mexican
government. A 'why not me' lament, if I ever read one. Now all
of this verbal ripping and tearing of Maussan in the media by
'other' Mexican ufologists.

I don't think the 'plot' is as complicated and convoluted as it
is being made out to be - ie; the Mexican government trying to
discredit Maussan and a few saucer-heads. Nope, I think the
bottom line on much of what we are seeing is just plain envy and
jealousy that the General did not choose one of them to entrust
the material to.

Simple, green-eyed jealousy. Nothing more, nothing less. It was
only a matter of time before it reared its ugly head. Again, I'm
very surprised that no one has mentioned the possibility that
this simple, and old as the hills, human emotion is motivating a
lot of what we're seeing.

BTW, good to see posts on the List from you again, Jim. I've
missed having you around.
