Thanks, John. I went back and re-read it, and I was impressed
with their testimony. I was impressed that they identified the
movements of the objects that they saw, without imputing any
motivations to those movements. The only thing they attributed
to the objects was an apparent awareness of their (the plane's)
own pursuit and then the fact that they had broken off that
pursuit. To-wit:

"Question: At the beginning of the incident, was it possible
these objects became aware that you were following them?

Answer: It's just a guess, but perhaps there was a connection,
in that sense, because it is very strange that we first pursued
them, but when we cancelled that and made a completely opposite
turn te objects then also turned - but in OUR direction and
began following us. I think it could be posible that in some way
these objects were aware that we had been following and
observing them."

When the crew talks about other motivations or emotions, those
are their own. Amazement, fear, confusion about the nature of
the objects..... Which is what good observers would do. They
report on the actions of the thing observed, and on their own
actions and attitudes in response to that.

I will allow the testimony of this experienced aircrew to stand
as my response to your response.

I will also say that I wish your interpretation of the meaning
of the actions of the objects were true - that there are such
benevolent creatures. And that they care about us and feel
friendly toward us. The larger hope lying behind that wish is
that they would come down here and shake us by our collective
teeth and make us stop being such jack-asses (especially some of
us who lead nations, and those leaders' minions). Alas, I see no
reason to expect wish fulfillment based upon the evidence in
this case so far.
