I also know of no case involving both radar and IR readings.

There are reports of intense heat accompanying UFO observations.

During a UFO sighting on August 19, 1961, in La Boule, France,
the local weather station detected a heat increase resembling
1.38 mV.

During the great heat wave in summer, readings showed an
increase of only 0.4 mV. (H. Ragaz 1961: Weltrundschau, in: Der
Weltraumbote, Nr. 68/69, p.15.)

Intense IR waves "burned out" the wrist watch of a UFO witness
on June 19, 1969, between King's Lynn and Docking, England.
During the UFO sighting, the fluorescence cyphers of the
witness' watch lit up. After the sighting the cyphers would
never light up again. The car's motor hat stalled. When the
witness left the car, he felt as being in a strong electrostatic
field. His hair stood up. 30 to 50 meters above him hovered an
orange glowing "inversed mushroom", as large as a house. (G.I.R.
Lore 1969: Strange Efects of UFOs, Washington: NICAP.)
