I agree with your comment about the Mexican and Belgian
governments. I believe the government of Chile deserves
commendation here, as well, for its openness with regard to the
UFO phenomenon.

Regarding the Phoenix Lights case of March 13, 1997, Art Bell
did do a program on what was unfolding there, although the
program did not involve USAF personnel. The USAF Airman who
apparently was involved in the intercept of the object by F-15's
contacted NUFORC several hours after the incident, but because
of his position, and at his request, I did not release
information about the conversation I had had with him until
August 1998, after he was scheduled to be released from his
military service commitment.

However, the information about my conversation I forwarded to a
UFO investigator in Arizona, who in turn, dispatched a
subordinate investigator to interview the Airman at his
apartment. The investigator/interviewer promptly put the
Airman's name on the internet, and he was gone from Luke
AFB...and from sight... within 24 hours. NUFORC has not heard
from him since March 16, 1997.

To the best of my knowledge, no military personnel were involved
in the C2C program of March 13/14.
