"Know that there is a Creator-Sustainer, who has made Himself knowable to Creation in direct proportion to the creatures ability to comprehend and respond." - From the Andreasson Legacy by Raymond E. Fowler Whose to say that we're arresting our ability to achieve higher intelligence Greg? Are we as a 'group' or 'intelligence' ready to accept the responsibility that goes along with 'higher intelligence'? My opinion says we're not. Another quote from Mr. Fowler is "One billion years ago, the highest form of life on earth was a simple wormlike animal. The creatures that dwell on planets only one billion years older than earth may possess an intelligence that surpasses us by as much as we surpass the worm!" Ray Fowler - The Watchers Could we even comprehend a higher intelligence if it was to smack us on the lips? What if our individual intelligence is determined by each person's ability to draw from the groups 'collective intelligence'? How can we determine a maximum level of intelligence via the limited use of our brain? Where does a level of psi intelligence fit into here or does it? Can we even compare the two? Who are the 'we' you speak of who assumes that intelligence is directly tied into 'technological gizmos'? I feel that a higher level of intelligence or awareness or an increase in the ability of one to manipulate their consciousness would possibly lead directly away from the dependence on 'technological gizmos'. I feel, as Ray Fowler states, that we will only perceive what our current level of intelligence will allow us to comprehend. My two cents worth, Todd Lemire
